Every now and again we like to focus on one of our customers and compile a short case study. Most recently these have highlighted our expertise in the food and drink industry and also the fact that we are able to print customised biodegradable labels, for those who are looking for a more eco-friendly label.

However, we don’t just work with the food and drink industry, in fact we work with all industries from electrical to gas and plumbing, industrial, charitable organisations and well as within the public sector. We also have an enviable reputation for the labels we supply to the health and beauty industry. So this next case study focuses on another new customer to us. We would like to introduce Bomb Cosmetics, and these are their words:

A BIT ABOUT BOMB COSMETICS

On the beach in Bournemouth, I spent most of my days, chilling out, mixing, relaxing, all cool and all shooting some b-ball outside of the school when a couple of guys named James and Pete started making Bath Bombs in my neighbourhood. They wanted to make something which was handmade, good for your skin and also the environment. I just knew I had to get involved in their exciting adventure! Initially it was just a few bath bombs but now, with the support of our MD Robert, it has expanded to a full, perfectly fragranced, beautifully packaged, product range.

OUR COMPANY ETHOS

We use natural ingredients wherever possible. We have changed all of our glitters to a biodegradable version made from plants and we don’t use microbeads either. To be even more environmentally friendly, we are now changing these bio-glitters to sanding sugars and micas. We have always been against animal testing too and always will be.

100% handmade. All of our products are lovingly made in-house, thanks to our team of over 250 Bomb-er-Lomb-ers! Moulded, mixed, rolled and piped entirely by hand. Our gorgeous crafters ensure that each and every product is unique, but ultimately perfect in its own little way.

TESTING THE BEGASSE LABEL MATERIAL

We’re always on the lookout for new ways to be environmentally friendly, not only is it important to our customers but also to everyone here at Bomb Cosmetics. When we came across these biodegradable labels, it just seemed like the right move.

We received a small sample pack of the Begasse labels and we tested them on our unwrapped shampoo bars and soaps. The label’s adhesive qualities were perfect for our cosmetics, not leaving behind any residue and still adhering perfectly!

On our quest towards more environmentally friendly and responsible, and having recently re-launched our Solid Shampoo Bars, this gave us the perfect opportunity to move to biodegradable labels on our products and we plan to continue this for new launches where possible!

WHAT NEXT FOR BOMB?

We just want to spread that Bomb love! We’re planning on expanding into even more countries, and 2018/2019 has been the start of our leap across the pond! We will be releasing more home accessories than ever before in upcoming launches and more new and exciting cosmetics.
