By choosing organic, we are supporting farming practices that prioritise healthy soil, biodiversity, and the reduction of synthetic chemicals.
What is the relationship between organic goods and biodegradable labels?
At the GREEN LABEL company, we have a strong commitment to environmental stewardship, and ensuring that our biodegradable and compostable labels have a minimal environmental footprint from production to disposal is paramount. We carefully select materials for our labels that are sourced from responsible and sustainable suppliers, so for example our semi-gloss labels are crafted from FSC® certified paper. All our plant-based labels will return to the soil without disrupting the delicate balance of ecosystems. This aligns exactly with the organic ethos, as both promote holistic, earth-friendly practices.
Are compostable labels better than biodegradable labels for my organic products?
It really depends on what the product is and how it will be stored. Natureflex compostable labels have a shelf life of around 6 months whereas Bagasse biodegradable labels will be good for up to 2 years in certain conditions. We would be happy to advise you and even send you some samples to test.
